The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) Managing Safely is a three day practical programme designed for managers and supervisors within any sector, and any organisation worldwide. Importantly, Managing Safely makes a powerful case for safety and health being an internal part of day-to-day management and business.

As per our commitments to our learners’ needs, we have invested a lot of research time and resources to create our very own ePortfolio System, available to our learners’ on any operating system and device (Windows/Mac/Android/iOS) from December 2018 at www.cdc.org.uk

entry

No formal entry requirements – this programme is for any manager or supervisor which needs to understand their duty to manage their health and safety responsibilities.

No jargon, no legalese – just inspirational learning that’s enjoyable, stimulating and effective.

assessment

The IOSH Working Safely course is being delivered over a period of three days and there’s a 100% classroom attendance required.

The course is being delivered and assessed via classroom training and at the end of the course you’ll have to complete an interactive learner assessment workbook.

duration

The IOSH Working Safely is being delivered via classroom training over three days.

A high level of support will be provided by your Tutor/Trainer which will enable you to understand the basic principles of health and safety in a unique way.

accreditation

Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, students are awarded an IOSH Managing Safely certificate from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), the world’s largest professional health and safety membership organisation.

IOSH Working Safely is recognised by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) when applying for a CSCS card to work on a UK construction site. Applicants must also pass the CSCS health, safety and environment test in order to obtain the Green Labourers’ CSCS Card valid for five years’.
